What's the difference between PPF and ceramic coating?+
Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a physical urethane barrier that absorbs rock chips, road debris, and scratches before they ever reach your paint. Ceramic coating is a chemical layer that bonds to the paint surface — repelling water, contaminants, and UV rays for years. PPF stops physical damage. Ceramic coating handles contamination and makes maintenance easier. Many drivers combine both: PPF on high-impact areas, ceramic coating on top for protection and gloss.
Is ceramic tint worth the extra cost over carbon tint?+
Yes — for most Chattanooga drivers. Ceramic blocks 96% of infrared heat vs. 57% for carbon. That's the difference between your cabin staying livable and feeling like an oven on a July afternoon. Ceramic also carries a lifetime warranty vs. no warranty on carbon. The price gap is $50–$100. For that difference, ceramic is the better long-term investment in comfort and interior protection.
What tint percentage is legal in Tennessee?+
Tennessee requires front side windows to allow at least 35% of light in (35% VLT minimum). Rear side windows and the rear windshield have no darkness restriction — any VLT is legal as long as you have working side mirrors. Every install we do is guaranteed to comply with Tennessee law. Do you tint Tesla and other electric vehicles?+
Yes — all Tesla models (Model 3, Y, S, X) and other EVs. Tesla vehicles specifically require ceramic tint. Metallic films interfere with Autopilot cameras, GPS, and the phone key system. How long does an install take?+
Window tint on a full car typically takes 2–3 hours. PPF varies by coverage — a partial front bumper takes a few hours, a full front-end package takes a full day. We work appointment-only so your vehicle gets dedicated time, not shared with 5 other cars. We give you an accurate time estimate during your free quote so you can plan accordingly.
Do you offer financing?+
Yes. We offer financing through Affirm — apply online when booking or in person at the shop. Spread the cost of PPF or window tint over time. Professional protection on your vehicle shouldn't have to wait because of upfront cost.
What happens if I'm not happy with the install?+
